I came to this restaurant along with a group of people. It is a popular restaurant for transit and stopping by. The menu is nothing special, just like other restaurants. What makes this restaurant become the first option is its facilities. It has a few restrooms and mushola. Their public facilities are also clean. And I tried to walk around it turns out that it has a guest house or something like that. Visitors are allowed to order VIP rooms or smoking areas.

Best rest area. They serve a lot of delicious Indonesian foods, the parking place is very wide (cars or buses). There's store, place to take bath. Usually. When you go to Bali by land, you can go to this place to take rest. Best for group or families.

The food was nice, but there were quite a lot of bugs flying around the area. Even within the enclosed room. We got the Nasi Pecel without any chicken, Mee Goreng, and a cup of Iced Tea. Nasi Pecel was very good. The peanut sauce was so flavourful, and it was very comforting to eat it. Mee Goreng was delicious too, but it's not the same as the ones sold in Singapore/Malaysia. Iced Tea was also quite different from the one in Singapore/Malaysia. But i still enjoyed it!

Rumah Makan Bromo Asi I had a meal at Rumah Makan Bromo Asi recently. The staff were very kind and attentive, which created a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. Service was smooth and friendly from start to finish. As for the food, it was fine overall – portions were reasonable, flavors were decent, but nothing particularly stood out compared to other local eateries. It’s the kind of place where you can get a quick and simple meal without any fuss. If you’re in the area and looking for a straightforward dining option with nice service, this spot does the job. It may not be the most memorable food experience, but the friendliness of the staff makes it a pleasant stop.

Best Rest Area. Food is not bad, I usually have the Nasi Krengsengan. Lots of buses rest here too, sometimes can get busy. Rest area if going to Bromo or Bali from Surabaya
